Richard Glass – Chair

BA(Hons), MBA

Richard is a Director and Immediate Past President of Wolper Jewish Hospital, Chair of Wolper Jewish Hospital Health Foundation and a Vice President of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies. Richard has held senior leadership positions within ASX Top 50 companies as well as a number of unlisted public companies. Richard has been a supporter of Gift of Life Australia since 2002 and is particularly passionate about the promotion of stem cell donation having lost his father to leukemia aged 51 yrs.

 

Dr Jerome Goldberg – Board Member

M.B., B.S., F.R.A.C.S., F.A. Ortho A.

Jerome is a Sydney-based orthopaedic surgeon. He was Past President of the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia and a board member of the International Board of Shoulder Surgery. Jerome has been involved in orthopaedic research and has numerous publications in the orthopaedic literature. He has expertise in bone and tissue banking having been the Chairman of Australian Biotechnologies and is presently a board member of the Australian Tissue
Donation Network. He is also a board member of Sharelife.

 

Jessica Newman – Board Member

BCom, LLB (Hons) and MBA (Technology)

Jessica is a Director of the Wolper Jewish Hospital and has volunteered with a
number of organisations including the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia (NSW), Homeless Persons Legal Service, JCA Project Giving, Kids Giving Back and the Professional Women’s Forum. Jessica was also part of the Advisory Board of Advoc8, a political advocacy platform for government relations specialists. Jessica Newman is Senior Counsel at Mastercard Data and Services and has held senior roles at Commonwealth Bank, Minter Ellison and AMP.

 

Yehuda Kaplan – Board Member

B.Bus. , MAUSIT

Yehuda Kaplan is a co-founding Director of Gift of Life Australia Pty Ltd and a former cancer patient and bone marrow advocate. Yehuda is currently a teacher, second language learning researcher and translator.

 

Deborah Stracey – Advisor

Dip App Sci (Nursing) MBA, CTBS, Post Grad Cert Onc, ICU, Donor Health Care

Deborah completed her Diploma of Nursing in 1991,then worked in many fields of transplant at St Vincent’s Hospital including Cardiothoracic and Renal, before she spent 12 years specialising in Bone Marrow Transplant / Haematology.
Deborah completed her Oncology certificate enabling her to fulfill such roles as Nurse Educator, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Clinical Nurse Consultant. Deborah is passionate about equitable access to life saving treatment for all.
